A nice piece of design history

Just a few short decades after Gutenberg did his thing, Drer was making plans for pressrooms. His lovely drawing is reproduced here via collotype and is accompanied by an essay by Ray Nash. Is this much ado about nothing? Perhaps. But its a beautiful piece of New England printing. And its interesting. And there were only 550 copies printed. Collect them all by starting with this one.
