It continued the use of the nut and bolt fixing for the liner. In 1952 the army changed to the "Pull the Dot" system, so this helps to date this helmet. Most of this pattern of helmet were produced in 1945, however some were produced post war, so it is impossible to be sure of exact manufacture date. We have a large quantity of British army helmets
