and there are a few spots on one sideplate where the crank has rubbed against it

Designated "The Flame Treated Fly Rod" from the label on the tube. The rod weighs 4. 9 ounces on my scale. Serial number "80 2 85" which is inked on the shaft, above the male ferrules on each tip, and also noted on the tube label. Medium action. Lightly used original condition with some soiling to the grip and one tip has a small chip in the varnish near where the serial number
