RPPC - Train Wreck with Engine Number 8309 - Passengers in Winter Coats - Train Derailment on Winter Day Early 1900s - Maybe Southern RR - Vintage Postcard Hodgenville Publisher: unknownThe stampbox on this card indicates it was made between 1904 and 1920. The card is in excellent condition. The clothing looks like it was after 1915. If it is the 8309, it could be Southern Railway. The white bleed on the top and bottom would pretty well determine it is after 1910. The scenery looks like a Midwestern city, and the card came from a Michigan Antiques Mall. The edge of the card has some silvering of the photo.
